The Constitutional Convention
In addtion to the Newspaper Pamphlet located on the above tab, you must also choose any one activity to complete.
1. Make flash cards using the following words: Articles of Confederation, Shays' Rebellion, Ratification, James Madison, George Washington, Abraham Baldwin, William Few, Virginia Plan, New Jersey Plan, Great Compromise, Three-Fifths Compromise, Federalism, Seperation of Powers, and Bill of Rights.
Must include- Word, Definition, Color Pix, and sentence using the word in the context of the Constitutional Convention.10 pts.
2. Create a colorful chart comparing and contrasting the Virginia plan and the New Jersey Plan. 10 pts.
3. Make a colorful poster explaining and illustrating the "Great Compromise". 10 pts.
4. Identify the different groups not represented at the convention, (EX. Natives, Women, Blacks...) and in a paragraph for each identify the issues they might have brought up. 10 pts.
5. Write the dialog (Script) to the debates on the plans mentioned in the chapter. 10 pts.
6. Create a colorful poster showing how the Constitution counted slaves. 10 pts.
(Poster Size may range from Small= Sheet of paper, to Large= HALF of a poster board)
